To all the comments below - no. She wasn't the first or even close. It just so happens that amateur videos became relatively widely possible with the advent of camcorders. There were earlier video systems . Sears had a reel-to-reel version all the way back in the 70s, but it was ~$2,000 (in 70s $$) and folded after maybe a year.
I think the first camcorders came out in the late 80s, but initially were also very expensive. (Even VCRs were hundreds of $ at first.) I think I bought my first camcorder in 1991 for $500+.
It may be true that she was among the first to make videos. But it's because there was no reasonable way to make them much earlier, and not that many people had a way to play one anyway. (And in fact, the availability of porn is what drove the adoption of VCRs.)
Trust me on this -- no one has invented any new sort of perversion in the last few centuries. I can personally testify that people were having filthy sex at least as early as the 1960s. And there were swingers everywhere. But hooking up was complicated and slow.
And there have been white women indulging themselves with black men at least as long. Among the most famous was the boxer Jack Johnson who was married to one, boffed a zillion others, and was convicted of violating the Mann act, which made it a federal crime for a man to take a woman across state lines for "immoral purposes" -- all around the turn of the 20th century. And there's Muhammed Ali, Jim Brown, etc.
